zuexeus is the last of many monikers of north carolina rock punker chris murray. after playing for hardware, suburban propain and cornelius, post guitar/drum residuals went into solitary studio tinkerings labeled captain speky. these songs eventually made it into the living rooms and basements in the late 90's as a live show under the guise of many masks and monikers such as lizardman, the proto, rubber noses and rainbow wigs and ultimately zuexeus. most recordings tend to sound like an actual band, but live, zuexeus is more of an attempt to meld pixels and polymers with metallic guitars and mechanical rhythms.
